UX Researcher

Job Purpose::

We are seeking a skilled and passionate UX Researcher to join our team and drive user-centered design decisions for our social media listening platform. The ideal candidate will conduct research to understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations, and translate these insights into actionable recommendations that improve our product’s user experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct user research studies using various methodologies (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability testing, card sorting, ethnographic studies)
  • Analyze and synthesize research data to identify patterns, user needs, and opportunities for improvement
  • Create and maintain user personas, journey maps, and other UX artifacts to communicate user insights
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to integrate research findings into product development
  • Develop and present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Contribute to the creation of product requirements and feature specifications based on user research
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of new features and design changes through post-launch studies
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX research and social media analytics
  • Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of user-centered design within the organization
  • Maintain and organize a repository of research findings and insights for future reference

Professional Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in product management, preferably in SaaS or B2B products
  • Strong analytical a Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello)
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
  • Proficiency in UX research tools (e.g., UserTesting, Lookback, Optimal Workshop)
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar
  • Experience with survey tools like Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, or Google Forms
  • Familiarity with A/B testing tools and methodologies
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Experience with task management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana)
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., R, SPSS, or Python with relevant libraries)
