An Engagement Monitor Alert notifies you when the number of interactions (likes, comments, shares, retweets) exceeds a defined threshold or the daily average. This alert keeps you informed about changes in audience engagement.
Use Case Example:
Set up an Engagement Monitor Alert for your Instagram posts to be alerted when interaction levels surge, indicating high engagement or emerging trends.
Steps to Create an Engagement Monitor Alert:
- Go to Notify Hub:
From your Dashboard’s left-side menu, select Notify Hub → Alerts. - Click New Alert:
Click the New Alert button. - Select Engagement Monitor:
Choose Engagement Monitor from the available alert types. - Enter Alert Details:
- Alert Name: Provide a descriptive name (e.g., “Instagram Engagement Spike”).
- Threshold: Enter a specific threshold or choose to trigger based on the daily average.
- Choose Streams:
Select the stream(s) you want monitored. - (Optional) Apply Filters:
Use filters such as mention type (post/tweet or comment/reply) to refine the alert. - Enter Email Addresses:
Specify the recipient email addresses. - Click Save:
Click Save to create the alert.
