Through the Historical tab, you can access the Historical Module to search and extract historical activities from Twitter and the web. Historical search is available for Twitter data dating back to its inception in 2006 and for web data dating 2 years ago.
- Note:
If your current Crowd Intelligence contract does not include the Historical Module, you will be able to view the module but not perform searches. To enable Twitter historical search, please contact your Client Experience manager.
Through historical searches, you can:
- Run a sample of any query completely free of charge.
- Execute searches on historical data from Twitter and/or the web.
- Assess the volume of conversation around any topic during any timeframe.
- Understand historical data trends over time.
- Import historical activities for further analysis in your dashboard.
Once contracted, your Client Experience manager will enable the following:
- Historical Search Units:
For every 30 days or less, you consume one search unit (e.g., a 7-day search uses 1 unit; a 31-day search uses 2 units). The number of monthly search units is specified in your contract. - Historical Activities Quota:
This quota defines the total number of tweets, replies, or retweets matching your query within the selected timeframe that you can import into your dashboard.
